Since Cumulus¬ supports AppleScript, it can also be scripted from within UserLand Frontier¬. To facilitate Frontier scripting, it is advisable to create a so-called Glue table in Frontier. Below we describe the steps to accomplish this.
1. Open UserLand Frontier.
2. Go to the menu "Glue." If this is not visible, go to the menu item "Commercial Developers" in the "Suites" menu. A "Glue" menu should then appear.
3. In the "Glue" menu, go to the item "Enter your app's name" and enter a name not containing any blanks, for example "CumulusNetwork."
4. Confirm all following dialogs with the exception of "Does CumulusNetwork support menu sharing?" (Cumulus does not support menu sharing as of now). You will be asked to find the application on your hard disk.
5. After a short while the Glue table "system.verbs.apps.CumulusNetwork" will be created and brought to the front. It contains many short scripts representing the AppleScript commands supported by Cumulus (and a few more). Please take also a look at the cell named "objectHierarchy."
6. You are finished! To test your installation, open up a new script window, click on "Record" and perform some actions in Cumulus. You will see a live growing script in your script window!
